Sarasota Wrestling Club practices year-round and offers optional tournament opportunities for wrestlers who are ready to compete. Use this page for current club event information and tournament details.

Tournament participation is optional. Upcoming tournaments appear first; completed tournaments move to Past Events while their detail pages remain available.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Check the official rules before entering a tournament. I Own Florida divisions use a wrestler’s age on November 28, 2026; other tournament series may use different rules.
2026–2027 IOF DIVISIONS
Explore the published IOF age and weight classes. This guide does not submit an RSVP or determine your child’s final bracket. The Family Account uses the saved birth date for the SWC RSVP; confirm current classes with the organizer and TrackWrestling.
IOF says weight classes may change with participation and weight data. Heavyweight classes have special limits. Read the current handbook and confirm the official entry options before registering.
NEW TO WRESTLING?
Competition is not required to join Sarasota Wrestling Club. Beginners can start with regular practices, learn at their own pace, and talk with Coach Joe before deciding whether a tournament is the right next step.
