Sarasota Wrestling Club helps young athletes build skills in practice and, when they are ready, offers optional opportunities to compete in local and regional youth wrestling tournaments.

Optional Competition for Club Members

Tournament participation is optional for all members. Coaches help families select appropriate events. Tournament entry fees are usually less than $25 and are not included in membership.

Preparing for a Tournament

Confirm eligibility and registration

Maintain current AAU Extended Coverage membership

Bring wrestling shoes, required headgear, approved uniform, water, and snacks

Arrive at the coach-provided check-in time
